Chemistry diaphragm pumps

Chemistry diaphragm pumps from VACUUBRAND feature uncompromising chemistry designs. Their construction with fluoropolymers makes them very resistant to chemical vapors from inlet to exhaust and very tolerant to condensates. The two-, three- and four-stage pumps also have a gas ballast valve that provides a continuous purge with minimal impact on ultimate vacuum when working with condensable vapours.

Pumping chambers are hermetically separated from the drive system ensuring long lifetimes of mechanical parts. Most importantly, diaphragm pumps are oil-free, for vastly reduced service demands compared with oil-sealed pumps. They eliminate the cost of water when using water-jet aspirators, and the waste-oil disposal costs when using rotary vane pumps.

Nearly all VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps and measuring instruments have been approved for ATEX equipment category 3 in the vapor path.

PC 3001 VARIO select

The VACUU·SELECT controller has you covered. Use manual set-point-control for simple processes, run fully automated distillations, or create your own application with simple drag-and-drop editing. For solvent evaporation, the VACUU·SELECT controller detects solvent boiling and automatically adjusts the pump’s motor speed to maintain process control. The VARIO motor speed control also makes the pump whisper quiet and provides for exceptionally long maintenance intervals.

The inlet separator, made of glass with a robust protective coating, prevents particles and liquid droplets from entering the pump, preventing damage and extending pump life. And the exhaust vapour condenser allows for nearly complete recovery of solvents when used with a chilled water line or recirculating chiller for economical recycling and environmental protection.

MD1C Vario Pump

Compact, chemically resistant diaphragm vacuum pump, perfect for rotary and parallel evaporation. Comes with an integrated vacuum controller for precise control of the vacuum level down to an ultimate vacuum of 2 mbar.

MD1C Vario Pump

The three-stage construction provides the a combination of high pumping speed and low ultimate vacuum in a pump with a very small footprint. All parts in contact with pumped media are made of chemically resistant fluoroplastics.

MD1C Diaphragm pump

The MD1C diaphragm pump with gas ballast valve is optimal for pumping easily condensable vapors (high boiling solvents) in applications that do not require vacuum control, such as rotary evaporators or drying chambers.
